This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, use, store, and disclose information in connection with our applications, games, online services, websites, and other services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Process

Depending on how you use our Services and the features available in the game, we may process the following information.

1.1 Meta User ID

When you use MechUp on Meta Quest or another applicable Meta platform, we may receive and process a user identifier provided by Meta.

We use this identifier to:

• Identify the player across game sessions;
• Associate the player with their game data and progression;
• Support in-app purchases and downloadable content;
• Support multiplayer features using Photon or PlayFab;
• Support in-game voice chat (VoIP);
• Provide and maintain game functionality; and
• Support, maintain, and protect the Services.

The Meta User ID is used as an identifier for the game and is not used by us to determine your real-world identity.

1.2 Meta User Profile Information

We may receive and process your Meta display name.

We use your display name as your in-game name and to identify or display you within MechUp, including in multiplayer experiences.

We do not use other information from your Meta profile unless specifically described in this Privacy Policy or otherwise disclosed to you.

1.3 Meta User Age Group Information

Because MechUp is intended for a mixed-age audience that includes users under 13 and users aged 13 and above, we may receive the current player's age group information from Meta through the User Age Group API.

We use this information to determine the player's age category and to comply with Meta's requirements for mixed-age applications and applicable age-related platform requirements.

The age group information provided by Meta is an age category and does not provide us with the user's exact date of birth or exact age.

We use age group information for age-related platform compliance and related functionality. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not use it to determine the user's real-world identity.

1.4 Gameplay and Game Data

We may process information generated through your use of MechUp, including, where applicable:

• Game progression and saved game data;
• Achievements and gameplay activity;
• Game settings and preferences;
• Inventory and digital content ownership;
• Session-related information; and
• Other information necessary to provide and maintain game functionality.

This information may be associated with your Meta User ID so that your game data can be correctly associated with your player account and maintained across game sessions.

1.5 In-App Purchase Information

If you make an in-app purchase through the Meta platform, we may receive and process information related to the purchase, such as purchase status, transaction or entitlement information, and information about the digital content associated with the purchase.

We use this information to:

• Verify purchases;
• Provide purchased digital content;
• Restore previously purchased content;
• Maintain and provide in-app purchase functionality; and
• Prevent or detect unauthorized use of purchased content.

Payments are processed through Meta or other applicable platform payment systems. We do not collect or store your payment card number, bank account information, or other payment instrument information.

2. How We Use Information

We may process the information described in this Privacy Policy for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our Services;
• To identify players and associate them with their game data;
• To provide game functionality and maintain player progression;
• To display the player's in-game name;
• To provide and manage purchased digital content;
• To verify and restore in-app purchases;
• To support multiplayer features and in-game voice chat;
• To process age-related platform requirements;
• To comply with Meta platform policies and applicable laws and legal obligations;
• To provide customer support;
• To maintain the security, integrity, and functionality of our Services;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or other violations of our rules; and

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies where applicable to support and improve our Services.

• Support the operation and functionality of our Services;

4.2 Digital Content Stores and Platforms

We may share information with or receive information from digital content stores and platforms through which our Services are distributed or accessed, including Meta and other applicable platforms.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, property, or users.

4.4 Legal Claims and Security

We may disclose information when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our Company, users, or others.

4.5 Business Transfers

We may transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other business transaction involving all or part of our business.

4.6 With Your Consent

We may disclose information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary consideration.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain or interact with third-party services, platforms, or technologies, including Meta, Photon, PlayFab, and other services used for hosting, multiplayer functionality, voice communication, analytics, payment processing, or other features.

These third parties may collect or receive information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

If you choose to connect a third-party account or service, the applicable third party may provide us with information that you authorize it to share with us.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party services you use.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of personal information or game-related User Data that we collect or store, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide sufficient information for us to identify your game data, such as your in-game name and, where available, your Meta User ID.

We may need to verify the request and your identity before processing the request.

After verifying a valid deletion request, we will delete the applicable personal information and game-related User Data that we are required and permitted to delete, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and other legitimate retention requirements.

If certain information must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, we will retain only the information required for that purpose and delete it when the applicable retention period ends.

There is no fee for requesting deletion of your personal information.

You may also have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we process against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information and game-related User Data for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and maintain the Services;
• Maintain game progression and functionality;
• Provide purchased digital content;
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
• Resolve disputes;
• Enforce our agreements; and
• Protect our legitimate business interests and the security of our Services.

We retain Meta User Age Group information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and comply with applicable platform and legal requirements.

When information is no longer required for these purposes, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or otherwise de-identify it, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, security, or technical requirements.

9. International Data Transfers

DigiEden is incorporated in Singapore, and we may process and store information in countries other than the country in which you reside, including Singapore, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or another jurisdiction that imposes restrictions on international data transfers, we will take appropriate measures as required by applicable law to protect that information, which may include standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

10. Children and Age Requirements

MechUp is intended for a mixed-age audience that includes users under 13 and users aged 13 and above.

Our Services may be available to users under 13 in certain regions where such use is permitted by applicable platform rules and applicable law.

For mixed-age users, MechUp processes age category information provided by Meta in accordance with Meta's platform requirements and applicable privacy and data protection laws relating to children.

Where applicable law requires parental consent or imposes additional requirements concerning children, we will take reasonable steps to comply with those requirements.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where such collection is not permitted or required parental consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we process information.
